My Cabrio keeps having a dU code and the autolock clicks. It even does it for a short while after being unpluged. What is it and what needs to be repaired? thank you

Most likely the door lock assembly will have to be replaced, but take a look at the trouble shooting methods in the service manual and see if you can get more confirmation.

It does not have to turned on. I have not done a load of wash in 3 days and tonight it started beeping and showing the dU error again. Is there some known issue with this problem?

I just called and my washer was purchased in April 07 and they are sending someone to service it free of charge. Here is the number I called:
1-866-698-2538 .....I had not registered it and was able to do so when I called. Good Luck!
