I have a Whirlpool dryer that was a gift to me just recently. It worked one time and never worked right again. The dryer spins and goes through its cycle, but will not heat up. I'm assuming it's the heating element, but I can't figure out how to check it or remove it to be replaced.

Remove the rear dust cover and the heater is to the right. If it appears to have continuity then the limit up top is probably bad. REPAIR PIX WITH MANUALBonus stuff: If that all checks good and the power is fine coming in then you will need to check the innards of the TIMER.
