I also have purchased a replacement detergent dispenser and like several other posters I can't believe the vent (which does not exist on the old dispenser) will not leak. If I simply seal the hole in the back, I bet I will have mildew problems. What do the pros do with this unit?
Thanks very much for any help. BTW, if I seal it off, I plan to glue in a piece of plastic, using a tight fit and superglue. I don't trust silicone sealer in the heat.:cool:
