Rank: Member Groups: Registered Joined: 8/24/2009(UTC) Posts: 1		I have a Frig dryer that runs but no heat. Wiring diagram shows a black plastic ring that is the "Heater" thermostat. This surorunds the control thermostat. Heater thermostat reads 7.0 with meter. is it bad?

Here is the service manual which will show the location of other thermal devices which could be causing your problem. http://frigidaireservicetips.com/pdfs/488_3.pdf Be sure and check that 120v is getting to each side of the connection block. Also check your heating element. Good luck.
