I have a microwave with a broken turntable motor (output shaft broke off.) I found another GE microwave in a trash pile and salvaged its turn table motor out of it. Before I put the motor in my microwave, however, I need to know if the parts are compatible. The original motor had these specs: AC21V 50/60Hz 2.5/3 r.p.m. 3W P/N 6549W15017A The salvaged motor has these specs: AC 120V 60Hz 6 r.p.m 2.8W P/N 6549W1S013A Obviously, I don't want to use a motor that has a significantly different rated power input, as this could result in potentially dangerous electrical problems. The AC21V 3W vs. AC 120V 2.8 W has me concerned. I assume AC21V is short for AC210V? As in, it uses regular wall voltage? I don't understand how such similar parts could differ so strongly in voltage. Is 2.8W significantly different enough from 3W that this could pose a concern? I appreciate any advice.
