I have a Sears Kenmore 790.78672400 gas range set up for LP gas. When it warmed up for baking we got an error code F10, the oven started beeping continously. That code isn't listed in the Frigidaire codes list.

I turned the circuit breaker off for the outlet and reset the clock. The oven warmed up OK, and it seems to be working fine now.

What does the code mean? What would cause the code, and what should I look at next if it happens again?

You can find the cause of this error code and instructions how to fix in the one of my previous posts: http://forum.appliancepartspros...4431-f10-error-code.html

Let me know if you need the exact part numbers.

I read all the posts of F10 Errors for Kenmore a I was able to figure out the the ECO might be defective. When I looked at it I noticed that it was filled with resistors and capacators, several diodes and an IC chip. With my experience I would bet on the IC being bad or the diodes. I didn't see any burnt restistors and it didn't smell burnt. Are the IC chip avaiable for purchase from some place?
Also the model# is 790.78612400, I found on another web site that the 790 stand for the manufacture and that is WCI. Do you know who WCI is?

Hi Roger,

WCI is White Consolidated Industries. It's been sold to Frigidaire and later to Electrolux.

The repair of any electronic devices is beyond my expertise and no one manufacturer will sell you such parts.

Gene.
