Our fridge works fine but it seems to run though a cycle that's pretty loud. Sometimes when it runs it sounds normal; much of the time it makes sort of a chugging sound. Can't tell exactly where it comes from since it's more distinct actually when you're away from the fridge rather than right up against it. Ever heard of this? Any idea what it is or how to make it go away? It's annoying. It's an Admiral, Signature 2000 and was here when we bought the house. Not sure of its age.

Yes, it does have an icemaker. I've had it turned off, not making any ice, for several months

Measure the freezer back wall and fridg. temperatures and post.
