My front loading stack washer has been having problems spinning. I've been able to coax it back into operation by trying different cycles until it completed one. But not this time.
It will pump out the water but it won't agitate or spin. I got a little frustrated and pushed against the front of the washer and the drum started to turn. I did that a few times and it kept turning then stopped again. I was pushing on either side of the door, but not the door itself.
Does this give anyone a clue about what might be wrong? Thanks!

Thanks Gene. Is there any way to test that?

Remove the toe panel and look for an envelope with the tech sheet.
Gene.

There was only a wiring diagram there -- no tech notes...

I could not find it either. You can try to look for the tech sheet or take a chance and replace the part.
Gene. A wiring diagram can help you to test the switches.

Just as a follow-up, I had a tech come and it was a loose connection. Now that it has been re-connected securely, it works better than ever.
Thanks!

I'm glad to hear you are back in business. Very often most complicated problems end up being simpler than they seemed.
Gene.
