hello, have problem and could use some input. washer fills ok and temps work but won't agitate on any of the wash cycles, it will agitate on the rinse cycle and the timer does cycle thru all phases also it does spin properly just can't get it to agitate superwash,hd wash or any of the wash cycles. it makes no sounds down below like it's even trying to agitate. i haven't dug into it yet but am thinking dirty contacts in timer not allowing it to recognize wash cycles? watcha think, would appeciate any help, wife has to keep us in clean socks.

gene, can it be the contacts (if there are any) are dirty or some other reason it's not working and is it possible for myself to fix it here? just wondering, thanks..

Remove the old timer and inspect it.
