I am having trouble replacing the timer on my Whirlpool dryer. I have accessed the old timer, but I can't seem to remove it from the wiring. There are these plastic things over 3 wires on each side, and I have been unable to unclip or loosen them. I am afraid to be too forceful and break something. Does anyone know how to remove and reattach the wiring on this timer?

As far as I am aware you just pull them off, no secret or rocket scientist, just sometimes use a flat screwdriver between the timer case and the plastic wire cover and pry up. Hope this helps.
