The fill on the dishwasher did not stop. and water was comming out the door. Opened the dishwasher and the unit stopped, started the cancel / drain cycle. Dishwasher drained but will not stop, even when the door is opened, unless power is turned off. When power is turned on the drain cycle starts with the door open or closed. Unit is draining properly - just will not finsh cyle and turn off.

turned the unit off and left the door open for 1/2 hour - from reading other posts, supposed problem may partially be damp controls caused by the overfilling and water running into door hinge. later turned on and all was OK - turned on rinse cycle and added 1/2 cup white vinegar as Bosh recommneds occasionally adding vineger to dishwasher during regular rinse cycle to clean hardwater, soap and other deposits from contacts of sensors - probably also cleans float switch components. Anyway - it worked and unit is fine now. Bosch actually recommends placing a cup of white vinegar in a bowl face up in the llower rack and turning on the wash cycle. Saw a copy of the email from Bosch to another user of the forum regarding another problem.
