The dryer does everything, but the drum will not spin. We have changed the belt, so that is not it. The heating element heats up, the dryer control clicks like it wants to turn on, but it will not spin into action. Wondering if it is the thermal fuse? Not certain where it is or how to change it. Very uncertain at this point. Appreciate the help.

Hi Jfava
Can you turn the drum? If so, and the belt is in tact I think the problem is likely in your motor.
Before changing it out you can check the fuses/thermostats. The thermal fuse and hi limit therostat are on the heater housing, the cycling thermostat is on the blower cover.
If these check out, see if the dryer will start by opening the door, holding the door switch in, pressing the start button and trying to turn the drum by hand. (you will need help) If it starts, the motor is the likely problem.
Good luck.

Luckily we found that the problem was with the upper thermal fuse. The one that is difficult to get to. Now that it has been replaced, the dryer is running fine. Thanks of the help. Greatly appreciated.
