Thanks for getting back to me. Think the oven light is a goner. We have an electrician friend coming over, so maybe he has some insight. Did giving you the numbers do any good? Maybe replacing a fuse, or wires? Appreciate you trying.

Hi Gene,
Got the light switch from you (WPL 310345) to fix the Kenmore oven light (Model #665 4438994). Is there a specific way to remove the oven door light switch in order to replace it? It's a wall oven...need to pull out the whole thing? Thanks! Karen

Hi Karen,

As you can see in the picture, there is a latch on the light switch

which is holding the light switch in place. In order to unlatch and remove the switch you have to remove the frame around the microwave which is not very simple.


Instead, you can just carefully (remove the power from the oven first) break the old switch into pieces and remove it from the frame.


Remove the wires from the old switch and connect them to the new one.


Push the new switch in place.

Thanks Gene..thought that might be the case. We'll try that (later this week) & let you know. We have another switch to replace, so might be contacting you again. Really appreciate your help. Karen

Well, it's fixed! Needed only one part, #3148669 to fix the fried switch. Thanks for helping out! Great service!!:)
