Rank: Advanced Member Groups: Senior Expert Joined: 3/29/2009(UTC) Posts: 11,699		Hi Annie's Mom Noises are very difficult for us to comment on, because the way we diagnose them is to listen to where they are coming from, and well, we cannot do that here. I suggest you take off the front panel and see if something is hung up with the drum. If not the rear rollers could be the problem. See if you can narrow down the location, good luck.

Could this be a problem with the idler arm...Or should I just go ahead and replace the blower motor as well while the unit is all opened ? Thank you in advance... Rank: Advanced Member Groups: Senior Expert Joined: 3/29/2009(UTC) Posts: 11,699		As long as you have it open I would replace the rollers (lubricating them usually will not do the trick) and the idler arm if for no other reason than maintenance so you don't have to do it again. . As Magician said, you should inspect the blower which is attached to the motor and try to determine if it is the noise problem. The motor should be fine. Good luck.
