So a few days ago the water stopped coming out of the dispenser. I looked at the water tank and it appears to not be frozen. I couldn't figure out how to remove the connectors. I didn't want to break anything. The icemaker is working fine. I read a bunch of threads here about the water valve, but am not sure if that is the culprit. Any ideas on where to start troubleshooting. I checked the filter and tried with the filter plug and still no luck. When you press the water button inside the fridge you hear a low buzzing sound. Not quite as loud as when it was working. Thanks.

Locate the water inlet valve (#10 on the diagram) on the back of the refrigerator. Remove the wires from the water dispenser solenoid (yellow) and check the solenoid for continuity. Check for 120 VAC between these wires while the dispenser calls for water. Post the results.

So I check the solenoid and it 254.4 ohms. When you press the button for water the wires read 120.3 VAC.

Looks like the water inlet valve is the culprit.

- The water inlet valve Part number: AP4080917
Part number: AP4080917

Thanks I am assuming the resistance was too high? Part is being ordered right now.
