A few days ago it wasn't making much ice. I manually lowered the arm and it started working. Today I had a full tray of ice which i dumped out into a cooler. Now today it started making a loud noise. The noise stops when I open the freezer door. Also it seems to be blowing hot air from the bottom under the fridge side. It is a side by side freezer/fridge. Any ideas...do I need to call the repairman?

Measure the freezer back wall temperature, must be below 15 degrees for icemaker to work.
