I purchased a replacement flat ceramic ignitor which appears to be a perfect fit.

Although it's been a week since I removed the old ignitor, so I can't recall precisely how it was installed, both old and new seem to only fit one way.

The problem is that the new ignitor is positioned away from the gas holes, towards the back of the oven. In that position, it heats the gas supply tube but does not ignite the gas as it exits the through the tiny holes.

Is that correct? Can I see a photo of a correctly installed ignitor?

I tried to annotate the photo. Does this help?

Thanks,
- CarlD
