This damper motor is a dc motor that is driven open and closed by two motor windings. Again, if the thermisters check out correct for the temperatures they are exposed to, you must have a bad motherboard, particularly that the damper door operates to close and to open.

Rank: Member Groups: Registered Joined: 7/19/2009(UTC) Posts: 16		Need some more help GE sent me a new motherboard and I installed it and it work fine now a month and half later the box is doing the same thing frizzing up everything the refrigerator side. GE said that they might be something more wrong with the box. I check everything again lasts night and it shows the M/B is bad. What else could be wrong?

If ok, probably a bad board. Before replacing add a 1000 joule surge protector to the outlet, available at Lowes, $12.95, just make sure it is made for a refrigerator!

ANY IDEAS THANKS
