The icemaker on my Fridgidaire is not turning out ice. The in-door water dispenser is working fine. There is ice in the tray, but the maker has not turned out any ice into the bucket for about a week. I don't think it is the water valve. I have tried to turn the gears on the ice maker to "test cycle" but they will only turn a little bit before getting "stuck". Any help would be greatly appreciated.:confused: I just tried to cycle the ice maker again and it did rotate all the way around this time. The tray filled with water but the water did not stop flowing until I manually cycled the gear a little further. Does that mean that the whole icemaker needs replaced?
