Is there a bracket or something that holds the drum up around the front and back seal panels that if broken, would cause a gap that would allow the clothes to be pulled up to the top of the dryer wall and pinched between the rotating drum and the back seal/bulkhead? What should I be looking for and what should I replace in this instance? I originally thought it was the felt seal, but after getting the dryer apart somewhat, I found that the seal was fine. But, there is a large gap too big for a seal that size to keep clothes from being sucked in between the drum and bulkhead. It appears that the top of the drum is really tight against the rear seal, but the bottom has a gap between 1/2 an inch to 1 inch wide, which is where the clothes are getting pulled in, then pulled up to the top where there is not a gap at all and the getting torn from the drum spinning around them. I am confident I can fix it if I know which part to replace. Can someone point me in the right direction please? I can't afford to lose anymore clothes or replace this stupid thing and I'm already frustrated with it after pulling it apart once! Thanks!

Thanks, Gene. I have the service manual and was looking through it as well as the breakdown diagrams. I'm still kind of lost. I will check the support rollers but since there is a gap at the bottom and not the top and only in the back, I would imagine it is whatever holds that drum up. Would the support rollers be the part I need to look at? I appreciate your help. Thanks!

I think I know what the problem is now and it was something I had been looking at, but for some reason it made no sense until you told me to look at those parts and then I went back to the manual!!!!! It will be this weekend before I get to work too much on this, but I will let you know how it goes.
