The dryer is making a rattling sound for 2 to 4 seconds then is quiet for rest of cycle. On inspection it seems to come from vent near blower fan. Their is also a slight clicking noise as it makes a revolution close to motor. Any ideas? normandy

Hi Normandy Sounds like a broken blower fan, but you are going to have to open it up and check it out. Here is the service manual which will show you how to get into the machine. http://www.servicematters.com/m...ibrary/docs/16008714.pdfGood luck, hope you find. A blower is pretty easy to replace.

Thanks to sidfink43 for the prompt reply. I ordered the blower fan and received it Tues 14th. I started work on it around 4.30 pm and finished it at 5.30pm. Everything went well and I appreciate your service. The dryer manual download helped greatly. I will use your service again and spread the word. Thanks again. normandy
