Refrigerator cycles by day from too warm to too cool. Freezer section gets too warm but then cools to freezing. Makes very little ice

When it goes into the defrost cycle the defrost thermostat may not be cutting it off when it heats up to melt the ice and then when the cycle is finished it refreezes. The defrost thermostat is located behind the back cover inside the freezer and is clamped to the coils. You can test it. Refrigerator Repair Guide: How To Fix a Refrigerator - ACME HOW TO.com
