I recently replace my icemaker unit, besides the poor tasting cubes the unit preformed well for a few days, now I've noticed water leaking from the bottom of the refrigerator, if I turn the icemaker unit "off" then the problem goes away. I double checked my installation, no problems or cracked water lines. Do I have a faulty water value that needs replacing?

The tube that goes into the back of the icemaker may be stopped up with ice. When this happens it will cause water to leak at the back where the line connects to the tube. Check the tube and if it is stopped up clean it out and replace the water valve. Refrigerator Leaking Repair Guide
