the refrigerator in the garage continually runs.....it never shuts off. the condensor motor and fan makes alot of noise. i've cleaned the unit, leveled it , and done all of the basic maintenance. when i stop the unit by pulling the plug and then restart it, the unit runs quietly for a couple of minutes and then the noise starts again. other than that the unit works well and keeps everything cold.

Remove the rear panel in the freezer and check how the evaporator coil is covered with snow. Post the results.

gene, thanks for getting back to me so fast. i took off the panel in the freezer to the evaporator coil and you were right....the coil was full of snow. the top half of it was covered with it. is there anything we can do? thanks, bob herlocker
