The lid switch was recently replaced and machine working fine for 3 weeks. A recent change to the amount of money needed was made to the 2 washing and 2 dryers and suddenly the ONE washer doesn't work properly-- 1-Twice, after someone deposited the required money--nothing happened-no water, no indicator light and was unplugged. A few hours later, was plugged in without ANYTHING done with it (no additional coins, or anything ) and it cycled properly! 2-Now NOTHING happens when coins are put in and I am certain it is a defective / improperly modified coin receiver ! ! ! Thanks, you guys are great!

It can be a bad timer or a bad timer clutch. You have to open the service door on top and inspect all parts inside. Then post the results.
