My dryer is making a knocking sound when turned on. The drum is still turning. I am thinking it is the idler pulley or maybe the support rollers. How do I get the front or the top removed to get to the inside to replace the parts? There are no screws in the door that would allow me access.
Thanks!

Remove the lint screen and the two screws under the screen. Using a putty knife, push in the locking clip on each side in front of the top panel and lift the top panel up. Remove the screw on each side of the front panel, remove the wires from the door switch (draw a picture of their position before) and remove the front panel.
