Our power went out after a transformer blew up. The power didn't go right out, the lights went brown and then no power. All the appliances worked when the power came back 12 hours later except the electric wall oven. No display or oven light. There is power to the back of the oven controller so we replaced it. New controller but still no display or oven light. Where do I look next?

How exactly were you testing for power there?

There is nothing between the control and where the power wires connect on it that should stop the control from working. Either the new part is defective (very doubtful IMO if a brand new part) or your testing method was incorrect. I would suggest you recheck that.
