No I just unplugged and checked it across the probe itself, I am not sure where it plugs into the board at.

The wiring to the sensor can also be responsible for problems as described at the previous "How do I check an oven temperature sensor?" link, although it is only a fairly infrequent culprit.

JFYI

I finally had to call a technician and he said the F7 is a touch pad problem like a short in it from one of the cooking elements, the oven would work ok without any errors. So unfortunately the part alone will be around 400.00. I just wanted to reply to say it is solved it seems and thank you very much.

The part has been ordered so not installed yet, so now I am getting worried. But when the stove was in error I held a hair dryer over the left side on the touch pad and after about 3 minutes the error codes went out and it worked for a while then started up again. So it seems there is a short in the matrix inside.

This is the final follow up just to complete the thread and maybe help someone else some day. Raplacing the touch pad did cure the problem so it seems it was shorted with a key depressed some place on the left side. I must say I was reluctant to order that expensive part but it is fixed so I am happy. I appreciate all your help Dan thanks again.
