Rank: Member Groups: Registered Joined: 7/5/2009(UTC) Posts: 1		While cleaning our refrigerator we noticed a small water spot on the floor. This spot came from a cracked "evaporator tray". We have since purchased a new tray but are unable to remove the old one. When we called "Whirlpool" we were told the tray is not removable for cleaning. We want to replace the cracked evaporator tray and need assistance in "how to remove the old one" and "how to replace it with a new one".

The replacement on the diagram for your model is not fastened but just slides in. They usually come out from the rear.
