Still working on my refrigerator! I feel no air coming in through the top vent in refrigerator side. The freezer is getting below zero and seems to have great air flow with in the freezer. I have no blockage in top vent nor bottom vent nor drawer crisper or door compartment blower. The door compartment blower doesn't seem to blow as hard as it used to when refrigerator was working. Air does come into the bottom and blows onto the water resivor (not really good I don't think) but it does blow in slightly. I am getting nothing up to however. I have replace the evaporator fan motor and blade and the defrost thermostat. If I put my hand up to the top vent holes in the back panel while fan is blowing I do feel air coming out even up to the hole going in to the top vent, but go to the refrigerator side and nothing. Could it be a bad motor not blowing hard enough to push the air into the fridge. My next step was possibly the defrost timer, but thought I'd get a second opinion?

There is on a light frost build up on the evaporator coils only. Isn't that normal?

Air does flow freely into the bottom vent. I did experiment with taping off the holes inside the freezer to try and get air flow through the top vent and I am getting some air flow, but not enough. Doing that my freezer is -5 degrees ir so and the fridge is set on the coldest setting and it will only get to 41 degrees. So my freezer is too cold and my fridge isn't cold enough. But this is only if I tape off the vent holes in the freezer. If it is not taped off the freezer gets 20 below and the fridge is 60 degrees. Could it be the new evaporator motor is not blowing fast or hard enough? The only things I haven't replaced is the defrost timer and the coil heater, but these don't sound like they are my problem. It goes into the defrost cycel and the coils clean off and start up again. It seems to be strictly an air flow problem.
