Hi everyone, new to the site.
My Amana side by side refrigerator ice make has slowed way down in the production of ice. There is water coming into the maker, cubes are regular size, and frozen completely, but the amount it makes has slowed greatly. I am seeing some water/ice runoff on the lower left side below the icemaker, and cannot figure out where that is comming from.
Could this be from the ice maker not cycling the already frozen ice out of the maker, and trying to refill the tray? If thats what this sounds like, is there a switch or something that needs to be replaced?
Thanks Tony

I do not know. I do not have a temp gauge handy to check it. I will have to pick up a gauge. I can say that the freezer is darn cold, and everything is froze solid.

The temperature in the freezer for normal ice production must be no more than 3°F. Every degree above of it will slow down the ice production.
