Dryer not heating. Heat element shows continuity, can the thermostat be tested using ohm meter.

I guess in a laymens answer to your question is it can be tested for continuity the same way you tested the element. If the dryer is not heating, you should also check the in coming voltage to the back of the dryer where the cord comes in. Don't assume the dryer has full power because it is running, because it can run with 120 volts, but won't heat. Tom ApplianceEducator.com
