Our washer was off balance (in spin cycle) and came to a halt. I have removed items from it, still some water in it. It (the agitator) runs through the wash cycle and also the rinse cycle, but, when it's time to drain and spin it stops completely, you cannot hear the timer running, and does not restart later. It's like it thinks the cycle is over. My suspicion is the timer has gone bad, any other ideas? Thanks

Thank you, after I posted the question, I saw the threads of similar questions and went "AHHH--HAAA why didn't I think of that? Went back down and sure enough, the switch was broken. Thanks again for your help. This is a great service for us "Do-it-yourselfers".
