Each time I put on the dryer it trips the fuse. But only the fuse for heat. The other fuse for power does not trip. I have made sure that it is the proper fuse, delayed 30amp.???? What is next? Could it be grounded somewhere. Never had a problem until recently

Never had a problem until recently I'm not familiar with this dryer but something says to me that you could have a bad overheating sensor, somthing that prevents the dryer from hetting too hot is not working? thus tripping? I don't know but maybe if we put our heads together we'll figure it out :)

I am assuming from your post/description that the fuse is in a fuse panel as opposed to a circuit breaker panel.
Yes, you probably have a short in the unit somewhere.
I would check the heating element sometimes they can break or sag and touch the case.
Also may just be a wire that is shorting to the frame.
There are other possible causes but the above are at the top of the list.
If this does not find the fault please include your model number, I may be able to find a wiring diagram.
Also do you have a multi-meter? |

If the fuse blows as soon as the dryer is turned on then yes I would suspect a short in the heating circuit but if it takes some time to blow then I would suspect your fuse box for loose wiring or corrosion causing the fuse to overheat and blow.
