My dryer was making horrific squeaking noises. When I pulled it apart I discovered that the plastic front bearing/drum support (AP3790641) has worn through and needs to be replaced. I see that the replacement drum support does not include the drum slides. However, I can't tell from the part diagrams whether I need the white drum slides or the green drum slides or both, and how many do I need? From what is remaining of my drum support and the slides, it looks like I need two green slides and two white slides--does that sound right?
Also, should I go ahead and replace the drum bearing--I assumed the drum bearing was the problem, but now that I see the condition of the front drum support and the slides, I'm pretty confident that's what was causing the noise. I just don't know if the wear from the lack of slides will tend to kill the drum bearing as well.

Yes, that is correct you need two white and two green slides. Yes I would go ahead and replace the rear drum bearing while you are working on it. GE Dryer Noisy Repair Guide

Thanks for the info. I performed a bearing support, slides, rear bearing and felt replacement almost two years ago and now the dryer is drum is thumping/jumping especially when the clothes are near dry. At the time the support was so far trashed...teenager drying 14 pairs of jeans at one time....I could not determine what order the green verses the white slide should be installed. Part diagram only shows one side and not sure if it even points to the actual locations. Can you direct me as to where/what order they should be installed
Thanks
