Dryer starts off normal. After 5-10 minutes the heater shuts off and
doesn't come back on. After dryer sits for a few hours the heater will
work again for 5-10 minutes. Clothes eventually dry but I'll have to
do this 3 or 4 times.

I cleaned the vent and it blows just fine, no obstructions. Any ideas
what this could be? Coils maybe?

Replaced the coils and the dryer now works fine.
