After using my dryer for about an hour, I noticed when I went back into my washroom, my dryer was very hot all over. It tripped the electric box and I unplugged it for a few hours. When I plugged it back up, I noticed it began heating again. Can you tell me what is wrong?

Check for a broken heater element, shorted to ground.
