just replaced mother bd because ice would not come threw door now ice comes threw door and now its been 3 weeks and i noticed temp in freezer is not keeping food frozen so i removed the rear panel in frzzer and found all iced up used heat gun and removed ice what should i LQQK for to fixs this problem and what should the frezzer temp be around ??? :confused: still not getting cold side by side unit

woodchukiee thank you the inside temp is at ( 0 ) but the food won't frezze so can you explan what is happen to me is the defrost system causing this problem if not what else should i be checking

I would check the temp in several different places. Perhaps the fan is not running to circulate the cold evenly or there is ice buildup on the coils again blocking the air flow.

thank you again yes the ice build up is behind panel in frezzer side and i had used a heat gun to defrost but 2 days later same thing ill try the defrost temp sensor and the defrost heater also i'll do one at a time 1st and wait a day or two and report back the results for others who may need help with this problem i have already replace the mother bd and that fixed the problem of no ice out the front door and the humming sound it made before like if the unit was breathing thats all fixed and good now be side this i kinda like this do it yourself with great help again thank you and after the parts get here next week ill post up with the results. :)

ok got new defrost heater and sensor installed tonight and will post up if problem is fixed thanks again :rolleyes:
