My GE eterna Side by side has some problems..The Freezer is not freezing and the refrigerator seems too cold. OF COURSE i adjusted the controls... I also noticed it seems to run constantly and the "center separator" between the freezer door and Fridge door is Very hot. so is the outside panel on the freezer side. I thought about "cleaning Coils" but where the heck are they?...

Could be condenser fan not running. It's under the unit with the compressor and condenser coils you want to clean.

Check for ice build up on the evaporator coils in the freezer behind the cover on the back. There is also a fan there that should be running. If ice is blocking the air flow you have a defrost problem.

Thanks for the help. I cleaned the condenser... the fan was running non stop and it was totally clogged with dust.... cleaned it all with a brush and vacuum last night... today... seems like all is well. No heat build up between the doors either! fingers are crossed!
