This page will help with replacing the door handle. GE Spacesaver Microwave Handle Replacement Once you get to the point that you remove the inner door trim you should see the spring. That latch just lifts up off two pins. Once off replacing the spring will be easy. However at times I see the hole that the spring hooks into break out. To repair this I drill a small hold for the spring to hook onto. Hope this helps!
