I do not think it needs a pro.
After all a pro put it in to start with and it still broke. Just take your time and make sure it is fitted/centered correctly.

inner glass replacing: is this something you would advise against for seals/insulation reasons? and have a professional replace? Thanks again.

Do you think Allen wrenches will work for the door removal pins? Cannot see why not.

I have a kitchenaid convection oven model: KEBS247DWH9 with the inner pane of glass broken. I have the repair part but the door will not remove per the manual or other info found on the web. Any tips? I am trying to avoid the $120+ service fee. Thanks for any info.
