About the best I can do without a model, is to remove the front panel, and with the help of a volt meter, start back tracking from the water valve. There are a number of parts involved. Some stacks had a fuse in them.

Can you post the model #? Some of the earlier models with electronic controls (SE1000) had 24 volt water valves. If you put in a 120v valve that would sure stop it from filling.

Washer won't fill with water. Everything else works fine. Already replaced mixing valve. Will work if I fill from outside source.
