Your tranny probably locked up in spin. Pull the belt off and turn pulley in spin direction, if hard to turn, the internal brakes are not releasing, or there is something stuck in the tub.

when in spin mode you hear a humming noise. i opened lid and humming stoped.took of front cover and belt is there. motor gets hot.

Check your lid cover to see if the strike is broken off.If it,s there, then check your lid switch with a pencil to see if it is making a clicking sound.If it,s not making a noise replace the switch

Washer does everything but when it gets to rinse and spin mode it stops. this happens in all cycles.:confused:
