You must have an amp-meter to check the igniter. If you have one the igniter should draw 3.4-3.6 amps to open the gas valve if not the igniter. If it is drawing this amount of current I would say the gas valve is bad. Gas Oven Repair Guide

oven does not work oven igniter is glowing and warms up how do i kwow if its bad.
