I opened the door after a complete wash cycle only to find that some of the clothes were dry and some were wet. I don’t think the drum ever rotated during the entire wash.
Upon examination, the belt is properly connecting the motor and drum. I can manually spin the drum and when I do both the belt and the shaft on the motor spin. The smaller motor that drains water from the drum works fine.
I suspect that it is the motor but wanted to confirm it before ordering given the return policy on motors. Is there an easy way to confirm my assumption about the motor?
Thanks for any assistance.
