Check rear drum support for excessive wear. A dragging drum will cause the motor to overheat and shut down.
You may hear a scrapping noise at rear of dryer.

Dryer starts and runs for awhile then starts making buzzing noise before it stops. After it sits awhile it will restart, but problem will repeat itself a few times before load is done. My guess is either thermostat safety or timer?
