The first and easiest check to make (if the machine drains) is the motor coupling. Look under the machine, in the center front. If you see shreds of black rubber and/or white nylon, that would be a good indication the coupling's the culprit.

If the machine also won't drain, check for a bad lid switch.

Washing machine will not spin just drain everything else works. What is wrong
