Without a model number I can only give you a generic answer which is to take off the front cover and see if you can locate the area that the noise is coming from.
Noises are very hard for us to diagnose in a Forum because we really need to be there in person to listen to it, and we aren't are we?
If you post a full model number we might be able to help, but you really need to be able to tell us where the noise is coming from.

My washer makes a random, very loud, screeching noise at the end of the spin cycle. It happens once or twice out of six or seven loads of wash. It may happen of either the first or second spin and sometimes on both.
I have ruled out:
1. size of load, it can be a small load of delicates or a load of towels.
2. water temperature.
