I have a refrigerator which has white sticky paper beneath, it is kind off hard to remove I wonder if it is to stay there?

It's suppose to be there. It helps direct the air flow across the compressor to keep it cool.

Just purchased a Maytag refrigerator Model M1TXEGMYW. I removed the bottom grill cover to adjust the legs and noticed a piece of cardboard under the coils. The cardboard looks like it's held in place by a white tab. Is this packing that should be removed, or is it supposed to be there?
