I'm a newby here too. But I have been reading lots of posts about your and my problem (our Maytag is a few years older but pretty similar).

First pull the shelves out of your oven. Then lift out the "floor" of the oven- it might lift up in the rear and then the front.

I found quite a bit of info just looking through LOTS of pages on the

My oven does not work on my Maytag range. The broiler works, but when I set the oven to 350 degrees, it gets to 100 degrees and stays at 100. Please help me.
